Fun Italian Conversation All Levels

Service Description

A unique six-week immersive journey through everyday scenarios where you'll learn to speak for real with other Italian enthusiasts at the welcoming Dome Café in Secret Harbour (in the meeting room upstairs). What's it about? Week after week, you'll refine your ability to order food and beverages as you'll have to say what you're getting (e.g. "il cappuccino con il latte di soia"). In each class, you'll engage in hands-on activities and roleplays about a specific situation. We'll also use the next door shopping centre (Secret Harbour Square) to practice things like directions and buying clothes in Italian. What's the level? In this course, beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels blend in! This is because, no matter the level, you're all practicing conversation in the same scenarios (as it happens in real life). So, if you are a beginner, you'll stick with the sentence structures that you'll learn in class. Whereas, if you are a more experienced speaker, you'll brush up on your skills and expand on them learning something new every week also through conversation with teacher Sara (who will ask you more advanced questions). What about homework? You'll be emailed the class material plus practical activities such as singing an Italian song, watch a tv series episode, and sending a voice message to our WhatsApp private group. These activities are the ones that really make you improve your speaking skills and help you overcome your insecurities and the obstacles that prevent you from communicating effectively. And it's fun too! When and where again? We'll meet every Saturday morning (9-11am) at the lovely Dome Café in Secret Harbour (meeting room upstairs). Our next course (and last one of the year) starts on Saturday 19 October and finishes on Saturday 23 November 2024. You can join even after the course has started. Coffee & food: Please get yourself something (possibly) different every week so that we can create scenarios where we talk about what we're having in Italian, comment on it, and practice more every week. Can minors attend? Yes, and they need to be accompanied by an adult who pays a full-price ticket. 7-11 year-old kids have a reduced ticket, whereas 12+ pay full price. Gift Vouchers available.
