Service Description

A six-week immersive journey where you'll learn to speak Italian through fun acting and roleplaying in a small group of Italian enthusiasts at the cozy Dome Café in Secret Harbour (Meeting room upstairs). We'll occasionally visit the next-door shops for further practice. Italian thru Roleplays Course details: - Saturday 14 June - 19 July 2025 - 9 - 11am (10' break half way through) - Dome Café, Secret Harbour Square shopping centre. (Free Parking). Content: • No grammar in this course, as it's specifically designed to "put you in the scene" as if you were in Italy! • You'll practice different scenarios such as Shopping for clothes, Checking-in in an hotel, Asking for directions, Dealing with problems and misunderstandings effectively, and more. • You'll learn to talk on the spot by selecting the right words without sounding stereotypical or using translation. • You'll get many different chances to practice your Italian pronunciation in a small group. • You'll get to order coffee and food in Italian every week and interact with the other course members. • You'll learn techniques to watch TV in the original Italian language improving your listening skills. • You'll be part of an exclusive WhatsApp Private Group, a safe space to practice what you learn in the course by sending voice messages. The group will be created on day 1 of the course, and you'll be shown how to use it. LEVEL- All levels blend in as you are all practicing conversation in the same scenarios (as it happens in real life). If you are a beginner, you will stick to the structures you learn in the course. If you are more experienced, you will brush up on your skills and add new vocabulary also through conversation with teacher Sara. Plus, you'll learn to tweak your way of speaking to adapt to different levels. MATERIAL - Every week, you'll get handouts to guide you through the roleplays, and you'll be emailed the material afterwards. COFFEE: Please make sure you save your Saturday morning coffee for our class and that you order some coffee/food before we start. This way, we will be able to use it to practice Italian making our conversations more real. *Coffee/food Not Included in the course fee.
