This Sunday 23 March, we’re hosting an Open Italian Cooking Class at Perth City Farm! Observe for Free or Join Italian Chef Franco and Italian teacher Sara for 1 class segment or the Full Experience (Walk-ins and Free observers welcome as long as space allows - Limited spots): DOUGH BALL MAKING + ITALIAN ROLEPLAY- 10:00 - 11:30 am: Chef Franco demo, tips, and hands-on dough ball making. Plus beginner-friendly Italian Roleplay about buying/selling bread, fruits & vegies at a typical Italian farmers market. (Pre-book to secure your spot, or walk in). RAVIOLI MAKING + TASTING - 11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Chef Franco's demonstration, Hands-on dough sheets making and whole Ravioli making. Plus you will get to enjoy the dish you have made! (Pre-book to secure your spot, or walk in). After the class, Active participants will be emailed: • Dish Recipes/Italian Notes, according to the class segment attended . All cooking materials provided, including an apron lent to you for the class duration. DAY: Sunday 23 March 2025 TIME: See individual segments’ times above OR 10:00 am – 1:00 pm for Full Class PLACE: Perth City Farm (1 City Farm Pl, East Perth WA 6004), in the Community Room (Ground floor). PARKING: CPP Royal Street carpark is just in front of the Farm, plus Free Parking bays available over the weekend. One ACROD bay is available on City Farm Place, and two in the Royal Street carpark. TRANSPORT: Next to Claisebrook train station, and the Yellow CAT bus stops right out the front. GF: We exclusively use traditional ingredients to guarantee the best outcome (Eggs and Flour). VG: Ravioli with Ricotta & spinach filling, and Goat cheese & pumpkin filling. Cooked with Sage & butter. SAFETY: Please wear completely enclosed flat shoes if going to be an active participant.
